Who we help

Get back to
your kind of active.

Your goals shape your care, whether that means competing, training, or moving comfortably through the day.

Lifters & gym-goers

Shoulder discomfort overhead, pain during squats, or limitations that interrupt your training. Work toward the control and capacity your lifts demand.

Pickleball & tennis players

Elbow or shoulder discomfort, difficulty changing direction, or trouble trusting your movement on the court. Build toward the demands of your game.

Active adults

Back, hip, knee, or ankle symptoms that make walking, exercising, or everyday activities harder. Start with the activities that matter most to you.

People with recurring limitations

Symptoms that return when you resume activity, or progress that has stalled. Explore contributing movement limitations and develop an individualized next step.

One80PT + neuromuscular facilitation

Find the limitation.
Build control.
Get back to life.

Your goal is to return to the activities you love. RPE uses the One80PT system to guide movement assessment and targeted neuromuscular facilitation, then pairs that work with exercise that builds lasting capacity.

We check your response during the session and use those findings to guide your next step. The aim is purposeful progress toward your active lifestyle.

01

Assess the whole movement

Start with your goals and a functional movement screen. Assess strength, control, and coordination in the movements that are difficult for you. These findings guide neuromuscular facilitation aimed at reducing inhibition of specific muscles and helping them engage during movement.

02

Facilitate targeted muscle activity

Use hands-on cues and neuromuscular facilitation within the One80PT approach to help inhibited muscles engage, with attention to proximal stability and how muscles work together. The aim is to reduce inhibition and support more coordinated movement.

03

Retest what matters

Repeat relevant movements after neuromuscular facilitation to check for changes in comfort, range, or control. Your response helps determine what to continue, adjust, or investigate further.

04

Turn control into capacity

Reinforce the work with targeted isometrics, then progress endurance, strength, and sport-specific movements as appropriate. Build toward the court, gym, and everyday activities you want back.

The RPE difference

Look beyond the pain.
Explore the root cause.

The painful area is a starting point. We take a whole-body approach to investigate movement, stability, and muscle-coordination issues that may be contributing to your symptoms.

01 / INVESTIGATE

A whole-body view of the problem

We assess how your whole body moves and works together—not only the painful area or nearby joints. Your functional movement screen helps identify patterns of strength, stability, and muscle coordination that may be contributing to your symptoms and guides targeted neuromuscular facilitation.

02 / INDIVIDUALIZE

Treatment guided by your findings

The One80PT system and neuromuscular facilitation help structure our assessment and treatment approach. Your movement findings guide the hands-on cues and exercises selected for you.

03 / CONNECT

Carry progress into real life

We retest relevant movements, then build on your response with progressive exercise. The aim is to address contributing limitations and develop capacity for the activities you want back.

What makes the RPE approach different?

We get down to the contributing root causes of your movement limitations through a whole-body assessment. Using the One80PT system, targeted neuromuscular facilitation aims to reverse inhibition of specific muscles so they can engage and coordinate more effectively during movement. We immediately retest the movements that matter to you, then reinforce your response with progressive exercise. The goal is measurable progress and lasting capacity—not simply temporary symptom relief.

Meet your physical therapist

Christian Davila, DPT

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Charleston Southern University and focus on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. My goal is to help you build the control and capacity to return to the activities that matter to you.

With more than 10 years of lifting experience, a background in coaching, and marathons under my belt, I understand the commitment that goes into training—and how frustrating it can be when pain interrupts it.

Outside of physical therapy, I’m an avid local pickleball player and a dog dad of two. Staying active is a big part of my life, and I bring that perspective to helping you pursue your own goals.
